Painting - Triple Moon Goddess

Triple Moon Goddess - 16"x20" mixed media

This piece is hanging in the Raquel Amaral Gallery this month - the show's theme is "Gods and Goddesses." I chose this Neopagan iconic symbol of the Triple Goddess - it was fun to put my own spin on the shapes and colors. And of course, my favorites - circles and texture! I worked with mediums from one of my new clients, Marabu Creative - they make these very cool Art Sprays and Art Crayons.

Painting - The Abyss

The Abyss - 16"x20" acrylic

There is an art gallery in town that accepts new work each month, so I have been trying to paint more. This piece expresses the frustration I've been feeling about our current political climate...plus I just really like circles and texture, lol. It hung at the Raquel Amaral Gallery for the month of June and it will hang at aRt Cottage for July.

I love drawing pears

lisa fulmer pear drawing art crayons

Pears are my go-to shape for drawing and painting, especially when I'm playing with new mediums. I'm not so interested in realism, just the curves and plenty of space to blend colors and textures. This time I worked with several different colors of my Marabu Art Crayons.

Cute little frenchie card

lisa fulmer french greeting card art crayons

For this card, I smudged a rainbow of colors (Marabu Art Crayons) on watercolor paper using a damp brush. Then I stamped the background text with permanent ink. The fleur-de-lys is a foam stamp that I colored with an art crayon to stamp the shape, then I used a paper stump to blend in a more solid tone.
