about

Thanks for visiting my blog, where you'll find ideas and inspiration for a little art and a little craft.

Lisa Liza Lou is a childhood nickname from my mother. It has a sweet little sing-song feel to it, doesn't it?  :-)

I am an artist, crafter, teacher and writer, as well as a marketing consultant for solopreneurs and small businesses.

I've worked in the craft industry for many years and I serve as President of the Concord Art Association.

My designs have been published in several compilation books and magazines. I have authored two craft project books of my own - Craft Your Stash and Stylish Craft Foam Projects.

I've designed projects and video tutorials for many manufacturers of art and craft products, including Marabu Creative, Spellbinders, Ranger Ink, DecoArt, SmoothFoam, Plaid, Walnut Hollow and Joy Letters.

I've written and designed for several major craft publications and websites, such as FaveCraftsCraftFoxes and Bella Crafts. I also write an arts column in our local monthly newspaper.

I was part of a winning duo on TLC's reality TV show, Craft Wars, which aired nationally in 2012 and internationally in 2013.

I am available to teach a variety of creative workshop topics for retailers, shows, retreats, or private studios. Email me to discuss dates and fees - lisa (at) lisalizalou [dot] com
