Today I taught a craft class at my local library - we made this 4th of July tabletop decoration. Click here for the full tutorial.
The good people at Smoothfoam and Craft Attitude were kind enough to donate some supplies for my class! My library has lots of really nice activities for the community and they're all free to attend.
We painted, we glittered, we blinged - and we had fun doing it! And by the way, this Monday is the Designer Crafts Connection blog hop. Our theme for June is party crafts - this project fits the bill perfectly, whether you're planning a big Independence Day block party or a small family barbecue. Look for the DCC logo in the sidebar of our blogs to click through and see each of our project ideas for your next party.
Above are some of the students' projects. My next craft class at the Concord (CA) Library will be in July - we'll be making a vacation shadow box. The class and supplies are free, but space is limited - you have to click here to register!
