With a little help from my friends at Little B, I turned a couple sheets of plain cardstock into a very cute placemat with a matching napkin ring and place card. Transform your next ladies' luncheon with some cute custom touches like this!
Today the Designer Crafts Connection is showing off projects made with products from Little B - makers of oh so, so, SO many different dies, washi tapes and embellishments. Be sure to enter below to win a glorious prize package valued at $150!
Here's the selection of Little B products I received - I put a pink star next to the items I used in my projects. Cuteness overload!!
For the placemat, I used a border punch along one side, then accented with two strips of washi tape. I embellished the punch design with a few mini flower stickers and a laser-cut hummingbird sticky note.
I did the same with another strip of cardstock to make a matching napkin ring, secured with a bit of glue on the back. For the placecard, I die-cut a floral shape and the word "celebrate," glued them down to a folded card and added a rhinestone. You can write the name of your guest above the word "celebrate."
Little B has these pretty paper flower kits that come with self-adhesive strips of pre-cut petals and leaves - you just wrap the strips snugly around a piece of floral wire (also in the kit) and then fluff the petals - they go together pretty quick! I wired together a small bouquet and poked it through a slot in the place card. I bent the ends of the wires to 90-degrees and curved them into a circle that helps the flowers sit up straight with the placecard.
Everything went together pretty quickly - it wouldn't take long to make up a whole table of place settings for six, eight or more - each with a different cardstock color and custom embellishments.
