"Encaustic, the rich, organic medium of painting in melted beeswax, is ideally paired with every other medium and material brought to it. As an artist, author and instructor I bring my deeply impassioned experimentation in this medium to students worldwide. In this workshop, I'll hold nothing back...bringing to participants alternative materials like TAP, Lutradur, Pinata inks, PearlEx, wood icing, stencils, and shellac. I'll demonstrate various techniques, provide instruction and feedback, and you'll have plenty of painting time. You can plan to walk away with several finished paintings and a whole new love for and understanding of the medium of encaustic." — Trish
