In this class, I shared techniques for laying down paint loosely. With inks, we let colors splatter and drip. With acrylics, we scraped and marked. We picked a positive emotion to go with warm colors, a negative emotion to go with cool tones. We also talked about looking for recognizable shapes or reminders within abstract work that convey a feeling or inspiration.
