I work with Marabu Creative and they have these cool dual-tip markers - Graphix Aqua Pens. I had fun drawing and coloring this abstract pear.
I got these nice watercolor effects by pulling the color from the marker lines with a wet brush, and also by wetting small areas of the paper first. I also blended pale colors from the marker ink by mixing it with water on a glass palette. The watercolor paper I used is very thick and textural.
Pears are usually my go-to subject for playing with new mediums, I just love the organic shape!
