I stitched up this little tuffet in just a few minutes with one length of fabric folded in half - it will be nice to keep in the car for my dog to sit on. She's real good about getting in the car, buckling up and going for long rides, but without some extra cush under her tush, she's apt to get carsick. This nice, big fluffy pillow is perfect for absorbing some of the car's vibration and it also helps her sit up a little higher to see out the window.
I adhered a flower cut from another fabric with a sheet of double-sided fabric adhesive, then glued on Joy Embroidered Letters for her name. I sewed on a couple buttons and a length of extra-large rick-rack from Decorative Trimmings to finish off the front. I didn't want to embellish the other sides because Suzie might accidentally tear things off with her paws as she shifts around on the pillow.
