vintage filmstrip greeting card

this card turned out a little too busy, but i still like it. i was trying to reflect a little feeling from the regal theaters in the silent film era.

the outline from a tag die-cut became the perfect arched frame for my filmstrip ribbon. click the pic for a close-up, mr. demille...

i cut up a collage sheet filled with tiny pics of these beautiful vintage ladies and used gloss mod podge to adhere them to the back of each filmstrip.

i blinged it up a bit with these wonderful gold buttons and a glittered scallop trim.
